Black woman Chantel Brooks vanished after leaving work in San Francisco
Family members and authorities are urgently searching for a missing California woman who vanished shortly after leaving her San Francisco workplace.
🚨 She left work — and never made it home.
36-year-old Chantel Brooks of Fairfield, California disappeared after leaving her job in San Francisco on July 17. Surveillance footage later captured her at a CVS in Fairfield around 1:45 a.m., walking toward her black 2021 Infiniti QX50. After that, her family says the calls stopped, her location went dark, and they haven’t heard from her since.
For weeks, Chantel’s family has been searching for answers — putting up flyers, knocking on doors and traveling throughout the Bay Area looking for any sign of her. Now, police say they believe foul play was involved in her disappearance, making an already heartbreaking search even more urgent.
Instead of celebrating with Chantel, her loved ones are searching for her and hoping someone, somewhere, knows something.
