PAID FEATURE DISCLOSURE
Last updated: September 2026
What a Paid Feature Is
A paid feature is guaranteed promotional placement. PSOM professionally tells and amplifies your story in front of our audience through Pretty Shades of Melanin and Pretty Melanin Bosses.
What It Is Not
A paid feature is not a guarantee of sales, customers, followers, revenue, or virality. We promise eyes — not sales.
Organic Features
PSOM may choose to feature a woman or story organically when the story genuinely moves the brand, fits the editorial direction, or deserves community awareness. Payment is never required to be considered for an organic feature.
Editorial Standards
Paid features still meet PSOM's editorial standards. We do not publish content that degrades Black women or conflicts with our values.
Disclosure
Paid placements are disclosed in line with applicable advertising standards.
