British-Nigerian makeup artist Ngozi Esther Edeme, better known as Painted by Esther, just achieved what she called her “biggest goal” — doing Beyoncé’s makeup.
Esther shared behind-the-scenes photos from Beyoncé’s glam for Cécred’s UK launch with Space NK, writing that she was “forever grateful” to have shared the moment with her. Cécred officially launched in Space NK stores across the UK and Ireland on September 22, marking the brand’s first international physical retail expansion.
And Esther has been putting in the work. She’s become known for her bold, hyperfeminine makeup style and the gradient “transition blush” look she helped popularize, with a client list that already includes women like Naomi Campbell, Tyla, Kelly Rowland and Olandria Carthen.
