Rihanna invested $1.75 million in Barbados’ Queen Elizabeth Hospital to expand cancer treatment in honor of her late grandmother

✨ Rihanna used her success to pour right back into the place she calls home.

Back in 2012, Rihanna invested $1.75 million into cancer care at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados in honor of her late grandmother, Clara “Dolly” Braithwaite, who passed away from cancer that same year.

Her investment helped the hospital purchase modern equipment for cancer treatment, and the oncology and nuclear medicine center was named the Clara Braithwaite Centre for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine in her grandmother’s honor.

$1.75 million invested into better cancer care while keeping her grandmother’s name and legacy alive. Okayyyy Rihanna, we love to see it! 🖤
